Warehouse Management – WM
Warehouse structure is defined with the SAP WM module, tracking and management of all the movements of goods that may happen in the warehouse, primarily the entrance and issue of goods, can be performed.
Basic functions of SAP WM are as follows:
- It determines where exactly the materials are inside the warehouse with the address tracking.
- It enables the usage of certain strategies of storing and releasing on the basis of materials.
- It is open for handheld terminal and barcode integration.
- It provides efficient planning and warehouse tracking with tools such as rough work load and estimates, time performance, delivery tracking and warehouse processes monitoring programs. It enables accurate monitoring of the processes from the production of materials to their shipment by working in integration with the modules such as Material Management, production Planning, Sales Distribution and Quality Management
